I grew up listening to rock, drawing in notebooks with striped sheets, in Mar del Plata, with surf, bodyboarding, skate, beach, hypnotized by the posters hanging in my room with 80´s style illustrations, trying to imagine how and who would devote
make those illustrations. A mystery and at the same time a dream of childhood to be
one of those artists.
I studied teaching at the visual arts school in Mar del Plata, and didn´t finish the career. I never liked studying or learning things in the traditional way, or with
the classic educational systems. I am quite self-taught and multifaceted artist.
I believe in self-education.
I founded my own design studio in 2007. I do designs, illustrations,
screenprinting, photography, I play in Mandiboola, I draw and tattoo my own designs.
But currently, my career as an artist is focused on posters and mostly screenprinted gigposters.
I prefer the analog, in all branches of art and life. And despite I
design most of my work in a computer, always the beginning (in
pencil) and final (inks), are handmade.
I use a wacom tablet to draw in digital, I hate the automatic vectorized stuff.
I like to draw my own typefaces whenever the opportunity is given, and
I also make them by hand. I use very few pre-designed types.
I enjoy making portraits of musicians and personalities that star in
my posters, especially if I know them and I like what they do.
I worked for agencies and brands such as Indie Folks, B-Ferraz, Nike, Scotta Petrocchi,
Veltrac Music, Rolling Stone Magazine, Inrockuptibles, The Highline New York,
Popload Festival, Music Wins Festival, Lollapalooza, Unlock, Highlights
Festival, Adidas, Vans, Trimarchi, among others.
And for artists like Tame Impala, Foals, Cat Power, Devendra Banhart, Mac
Demarco, Temples, Metronomy, The XX, Thurston Moore, Jesus And Mary

Crecí escuchando rock, dibujando en cuadernos de hojas rayadas, en Mar del
Plata, con surf, bodyboarding, skate, playa, hipnotizado por los posters colgados en mi habitación con imágenes muy ochenteras, tratando de imaginar como y quien se dedicaría a realizar esas ilustraciones. Un misterio y a la vez un sueño de la infancia ser
uno de esos.
Estudié magisterio en la escuela de artes visuales de Mar del Plata, y no me
recibí. Nunca me gusto estudiar o aprender cosas de la forma tradicional, o con
los sistemas educativos clásicos. Soy bastante autodidacta y multifacético.
Creo en la auto-educación.
Fundé mi propio estudio de diseño en 2007. Hago diseño, ilustraciones, serigrafias, sacos
fotos, toco en Mandiboola, dibujo y tatúo mis propios diseños.
Pero mi carrera como artista está focalizada en los posters, y actualmente en
los gig posters en serigrafía.
Prefiero lo analógico, en todas las ramas del arte y la vida. Y a pesar de
diseñar gran parte de mis trabajos en una compu, siempre el comienzo (en
lápiz) y final (en tintas), son a mano.
Uso una tableta wacom para dibujar en digital, odio los vectorizados
automáticos. Hago todo a mano.
Me gusta dibujar mis propias tipografías siempre que se da la oportunidad, y
también las hago a mano. Uso muy pocas types prediseñadas, no más de 4 o 5
creo.
Disfruto hacer retratos de músicos y personalidades que protagonizan
mis posters, sobre todo si los conozco y me gusta lo que hacen.
